Search for Arabic Resources
Welcome to LangSource's resource site for Arab Culture.
This is a database of brief reviews and source information for the teaching and learning of Arab
culture at K-12 levels of education. On-line, self-instructional, and classroom-based resources
– all of these are included, and many are also useful for teachers in higher education.
Learning Arab culture is an essential and integral part of learning the Arabic language
at all levels of instruction.
Additional resources will be added as they are obtained.
The reviews have been provided by the Arab Culture Editorial Board composed of:
Nesreen Akhtarkhavari, DePaul University
Elizabeth Bergman, American Association of Teachers of Arabic
Iman Hashem, Occidental College
Rula Hijazeen, Alpha-Z Language Solutions
Gerald Lampe, National Foreign Language Center, Chair
Al-Husein N. Madhany, University of Chicago
Margaret Nydell, Georgetown University
Zeina Seikaly, Georgetown University
Teachers and other users are requested to contribute feedback and suggestions for additional resources. Please address all communications to the Chair (glampe@nflc.org).
