Tamil Prose Reader
Resource Category: Language Resource
Description: This book is intended for intermediate and advanced students of Tamil. Passages are graded in ascending order of difficulty. Excerpts are from post-independence prose, and reflect a wide range of style and subject matter.
Editorial Board Review: Although the readings are not graded and the choice of selections far from ideal, this book continues to be used because of a lack of adequate materials in this category. These materials can be adapted by instructors through the addition of a glossary and by selecting readings appropriate for student level and content.
