A Korean-English Dictionary
Description: The emphasis in this dictionary is on the core of the language, and the authors have tried to give a full and accurate portrayal of the basic native Korean vocabulary. A certain amount of encyclopedic information has been included for both general and linguistic interest. The grammatical analysis which underlies the dictionary is that of Martin|s Korean Reference Grammar.
Editorial Board Review: This monumental, encyclopedic dictionary has been acclaimed to be most helpful to all students of Korean language and linguistics, natives and non-natives alike. Its comprehensive coverage not only of the vocabulary, almost in its entirety, but also of most of the grammar-related forms is unparalleled in depth and quality. The dictionary has not been revised since its first publication, and, consequently, a number of examples and entires are dated. Similarly, many words in current usage are not included. Nevertheless, it still remains an invaluable resource for teachers and researchers.
