Search for Korean Resources

This is a database of brief reviews of most of the resources of available in the field of Korean language, culture and literature. The resources in the Korean language are by and large written materials (textbooks, reference books, dictionaries, periodicals, conference proceedings, etc.) although some online resources are included. The database is intended for students and teachers at all levels, or anyone seeking information on the availability of resources in the Korean language field. It may also prove useful for people who are in Korean linguistics.

It is important to note that the reviews of the resources offered in this database are not meant to be extensive, scholarly kinds that are found in professional journals. To be sure, a resource without much substance cannot be considered for inclusion in this database, but the Korean Review Board is not in a position to rate the resources included. The Romanization form adopted in this database to transliterate non-English materials is the Yale system in order to avoid the use of diacritic marks.

The members of the Korean Review Board are: Robert Ramsey, Joe Ree, Yoo-Sang Rhee, and Ho-min Sohn (chair). Any questions or comments are to be addressed to Joe Ree at jree@mailer.fsu.edu.
